RedBull Beijing sued Thai company T.C.Pharmaceutical Industries in August 2018 at Beijing High People's Court, for the dispute over the ownership of a series of RedBull trademarks in China, and requested the Thai company to pay for 3.753 Billion RMB for its advertising expenses.

As the case involves trade secret of RedBull, a trial was held on August 8, 2019 in private. On November 25, 2019, the court made a decision and rejected all the requests of RedBull Beijing. RedBull Beijing has to pay the court fee of RMB 18.8 million, the highest amount of court fee in IP casee in China.
